Ever wanted to work right in the heart of Government? The successful candidate for this position will be involved in developing the Shared Services model of financial management across Government. Starting with providing Financial Services to 4 Government Agencies the model is expected to roll out further in the next 12 months to support Agencies that struggle to meet their reporting obligations to Government. The successful candidate will:

  • Be a key participant in the transition to a single platform Financial Management Information Systems (FMIS) over the next 3 years.
  • Be instrumental in improving timeliness and accuracy of Government accounts
  • Develop Agency systems and reporting to improve Public Sector Financial Management
  • Assist in the compilation and production of national Budget

Strong financial management and accounting experience is a mandatory requirement of this position. Interest in systems, government and public service delivery essential. A tertiary degree with an Accounting Major is expected.
