Project Title: Avatiu Ports Cargo Warehouse
Procuring Agency: Major Projects and Procurement Support (MPPS) department on behalf of Ministry of Finance and Economic Management (MFEM)
Project Description:
MPPS advises interested contractors and suppliers of an upcoming procurement opportunity for the construction of a new Cargo Warehouse. The proposed works are expected to include, but are not limited to:
• Site preparation and associated civil works;
• Construction of a warehouse facility for shipping and logistics operations;
• Installation of structural, electrical, plumbing, and drainage systems;
• Any associated services required to deliver a fully operational warehouse facility.
Shed Details:
• Approximate size 280m2
• Structural Steel
• Construction time estimate to be around 4 – 6 months.
A detailed scope of works and technical requirements will be provided in the Request for Tender (RFT) documentation.
Procurement Method: Open Tender
Indicative Timeframe for Release of RFT: The RFT is anticipated to be released in August 2026.
The RFT will be publicly advertised through:
• The Government Procurement Portal/Tender Portal;
• Local newspapers and media outlets; and/or
• Other relevant procurement and industry platforms.
